Hello everyone. Tis the season to rock out! The weather is beautiful, music is in abundance, and you're tired of being indoors playing video games when you could be learning a new skill. My name is Jason Kirby and I teach guitar in the Idaho Falls area. I have a number of students from Idaho Falls, Shelley, Rigby, Rexburg, and other southeastern Idaho areas. There are a number of guitar teachers out there and it's understandable that it can be difficult to decide who is the best for you or your child. I've been teaching guitar in Idaho Falls for a living for over 5 years. My lessons cover important musical topics such as scales, modes, theory, chords, note reading, improvisation, ear training, repertoire, and, of course, rocking out! I developed my music skills at the University of Oregon where I earned my bachelors degree in music composition. Now I use what I've learned to teach my students the necessary skills to be a competant and knowledgable guitarists all while having fun.

I instruct students of all ages and skill levels. My goal is to make the lessons fun and laid back. Students should not have any reason to be intimidated by the guitar. I teach one-on-one, as well as small class lessons of up to three students. The added benefit of the class lessons is that each student receives a significant discount on the lessons.
